Sir Harry Donald Secombe was a renowned Welsh actor, comedian, singer, and television presenter. A key member of the iconic British radio programme The Goon Show (1951–1960), he brought to life a variety of memorable characters. An accomplished tenor, Secombe also starred in musicals and films, including his notable role as Mr Bumble in Oliver! (1968). In his later years, he became a beloved television host, presenting shows featuring hymns and other devotional music.
